(HealthDay News) -- It's important for a person diagnosed with
Alzheimer's disease to continue to perform the daily tasks of life
-- as best as the person can.
The Alzheimer's Association offers these suggestions:
- Save challenging tasks for the time of day that you feel most
sharp. For example, if you tend to have more confusion and memory
problems later in the day, try to get your activities done in the
morning.
- Allow plenty of time for each task, and don't allow yourself to
be frustrated or rushed by others.
- If you begin to feel frustrated, take a break.
- Don't be afraid to ask others for help when you need it.
